Taken with Fuji Velvia 50, a classic high detail, high saturation landscape slide film, this scene depicts a classic bear watching area sunrise in Grand Teton National Park. Taken at Pilgrim Creek Flats, the location was adored by tens of thousands who visited the park with hopes of seeing Grizzly Bear #399, and has some of my favorite sunrises in the Jackson Hole area. With the alpenglow, the fall leaves on the aspens, and the crisp meadow grasses, this photo leaves a warm feeling to anyone who views it, whether or not they ever spent time here looking for famous bears.
